Built for the Roosevelt and Livingston families, it has been neglected for 70 years. The firm's expertise in historic preservation and its resources from expert craftsman from Latin America are being brought to bear on this important American restoration project.

It is a centerpiece of the ongoing renaissance of the city's waterfront. Its restoration, which incorporates Federal historic preservation tax credits arranged through Guardia Architects, highlights this port's role in the development of maritime history and industry on the Hudson River.
